Wendy Allen and Christina Tolpa are teaming up to lead the San Diego location.

 

Wendy is a tad spunky, a bit cooky and a whole lot of free spirited.  She is a proud wife of 17 years, Mama to a super cool 1 year old and a new transplant to San Diego via NW Arkansas. Her friends would tell you she has never met a stranger or an animal she wouldn't rescue or a vampire book she hasn't read. As a new stay at home mom in a new city, she is excited to get involved with Box of Balloons to make a difference with children in her area, and meet some awesome new ladies at the same time.

 

Christina is a native San Diegan and feels lucky to call such a beautiful place home.  She and her husband have been married for over 3 years. Together, they have an active toddler boy, 2 playful dogs and 2 cuddly rabbits.  Prior to being a stay-at-home mom, Christina worked as an event planner and designer.  She enjoys taking part in volunteering for a variety of charity events and outreach programs. She loves spending time with her family, baking, crafting, reading and running.

 

Christina has a passion for planning, designing and organizing events. The biggest reward is to know that she had a part in making someone feel special and to see them smile. By helping bring Box of Balloons to San Diego, Christina is pleased that she will be able to use her work experience to bring happiness and a smile to children in her community that are in need.
