Megan Wilcop || Co-Chapter Leader
Ellen Kovacinski || Co-Chapter Leader
Hi! I'm Megan Wilcop. I'm a wife and mother of one daughter, dog and hamster. We've lived in 4 different houses in 3 different states and have happily landed in Indianapolis, IN and hope to make it our forever home. I had the opportunity to get to know our founder, Nicole Moll, while we lived in Madison and watched this amazing organization grow via social media. I was excited to jump onboard as a chapter leader in 2017 and can't wait to help Indy kids have happier birthdays.
Ellen Kovacinski is an Indianapolis native and mother of three who serves as a volunteer and board member for various nonprofit organizations. Ellen is currently the office manager for a family owned electrical company, volunteers as a Marion County CASA, is a team leader for Habitat for Humanity’s all women build, co-chair for Domestic Violence Networks annual gala, and is the co-founder of Ausome Indy; a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides resources for children with autism in Indiana’s child welfare system. Active with two teenagers and a two year old daughter, Ellen and her husband enjoy exploring Indy’s local businesses, festivals, and food events. Ellen is excited to be joining box of balloons, because birthdays were a big deal growing up. My mom made every birthday special in our house, she treated foster siblings to a Goodwill shopping spree on their birthdays even after they left our home, and sent cards to family members near and far. Her calendar was literally full of birthdays to celebrate. Every kid deserves a birthday party, especially if times are tough or they are separated from their family, and I am thrilled to be a small part of it.
