We are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week as he is truly an amazing human to celebrate. He wrote over 60 books and sold over 600 million copies over the course of his career. Dr. Seuss has inspired readers for years with his catchy rhymes and fantastic tales of which many have been made into movies. Of course with anything amazing a party can be used to celebrate! Partylicious Events styled this most adorable first birthday party with a Cat in the Hat theme. We of course can't get enough the way she used balloons to create this dessert table. From the red and white balloon backdrop to the hair on thing one and two it is simply amazing. Cat in the Hat is looking splendid as well, this is quite the Dr. Seuss tribute!

Cupcakes are a must for us when we are planning a party and these from the brewer & the baker are perfect! Red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting are always delicious but then adding on the blue cotton candy pouf would for sure make the party guests squeal!

All of our birthday boxes include a party game or activity, it is an interactive way to keep party guests entertainment and make memorable moments. We are loving this handprint craft project from Must Have Mom. It is simple with few supplies but kids love to get creative with paint and then it doubles as a take home party favor as well.

Party games are another fun way to engage kiddos and get the most out of your theme. A Dr. Seuss party theme offers many game opportunities, even doing a story time with one of his books would make a wonderful party activity.
